Secure Socket Bourbon Sour

A robust and protected sour, encrypting deliciousness with a smoky layer.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Smoked Bourbon (or regular bourbon with a dash of liquid smoke)
  • 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.75 oz Maple Syrup
  • 1 Egg White (optional, for foam)
  • Dash of Aromatic Bitters
  • Ice
  • Lemon twist or charred rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions:

  1. If using egg white, combine smoked bourbon, lemon juice, maple syrup, and egg white in a shaker without ice. Dry shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds.
  2. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled rocks glass.
  4. Dash aromatic bitters on top and garnish with a lemon twist or a charred rosemary sprig.
